The 6th Meeting Colombia Venezuela on Statistics is an event that brings together the communities of both countries around specific issues, to find a better approach that encourages the exchange, strengthening and development in the field of research and application of Statistics. This event has been conducted annually since 2004, exchanging locations between Colombia and Venezuela.

This year the 6th Meeting Colombia Venezuela on Statistics will be conducted by the University of Carabobo in Valencia, Venezuela, sharing its organization with the National University of Colombia (UNAL) and the Central University of Venezuela (UCV). This event will be held between 26 thru 29 October. This time, the central issue will be Industry and Environment as a contribution to the statistical challenge of finding business environment in a balanced formula between modernization and industrial development, with effective environmental management.

As part of this event, we have the 8th Journeys on Applied Mathematics organized by the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science and Technology UC, FACYT, since 2002.
